We hope that you, your family and those dear to you have stayed in good health during these past few months. We want to thank our clients for showing so much support and patience during this difficult time.
Please see the updates below regarding what to expect upon your next visit with us!
Personal Protective Equipment: Everyone in our office, including therapists and clients, will be required to wear face masks to help prevent the risk of cross contamination. Please wear a clean face mask for your appointment. Our therapists will guide you on how to adjust your mask during your treatment. As always, your well being is our foremost concern.
Scheduling Tmes: We have added time between appointments to ensure we do not have clients overlapping in our office and to provide more time for enhanced disinfecting of treatment rooms, restrooms, and common areas in the clinic.
Offered Services: We are offering full services, including hot-stones and 90 minute custom massage.
What You Bring: Please refrain from bringing drinks into the office and please limit the number of items you bring with you such as coats and bags. Also, please come alone to limit traffic in and through our reception area.
When You Arrive: It has been so long, and we are looking forward to seeing you! However, please refrain from any close contact greetings such as hugs and handshakes. Your therapist will greet you at the door and make sure you have a mask.
Changes to Treatment Rooms: You will notice there we have removed many decorative items, as well as any blankets, linen, and pillows that will not be used during your treatment. This is part of the new health guidance, and will minimize the time needed to clean/disinfect between appointments.
New Training and Protocols: All of our therapists have been trained on the new health and safety guidance. We want to ensure both your and our therapists well-being. Your massage therapist will be very mindful of keeping a safe distance from any “Droplet Spread Zones” and will avoid massage to the face and scalp.
Cancellation Policy: Please cancel your appointment should you suspect exposure to Covid-19, or develop questionable symptoms. We will gladly waive any cancellation fees, and we will not provide services if you are experiencing any sneezing, cough, cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, or if you arrive without a mask.
Client Intake Form: All clients will be asked to complete a short intake form, which will allow us to have an updated record of any health changes. Please arrive a few minutes early for every appointment to complete this important document.
Pre-Treatment Screening Questions: Finally, please expect to answer the following screening questions before every visit:
- Have you had a fever in the last 24 hours of 100 degrees or higher?
- Have you been in contact with anyone in the last 14 days who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or has Coronavirus-type symptoms?
- Do you currently have, or have you recently had:
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
It is important to recognize that our clients often seek our services because of muscle pain. However, due to the complexity of COVID related symptoms it will be important to screen for other symptoms that might accompany muscle pain to determine if receiving massage is contraindicated.
